Free Rides on Golden Gate Transit to/from Sonoma County Through Sunday, October 22, 2017

Through Sunday, October 22, 2017, Golden Gate Transit (GGT) is providing free rides in and out of Sonoma County to assist those impacted by the North Bay fires. This courtesy is solely for passengers whose trips begin or end in Sonoma County.

"We're part of the fabric of this community," says Mona Babauta, Deputy General Manager of Golden Gate Transit. "The fires have been devastating to our customers. Their pain is our pain. Many of our employees also live in the North Bay and have been personally impacted by the fires and smoke. We want to do all we can to support our community and keep people moving, so they can more easily get where they need to go, especially in this difficult time."

Golden Gate Transit drivers and staff continue to work around the clock to provide service from Santa Rosa. GGT's Sonoma County trips originate and terminate at 3225 Industrial Way in Santa Rosa, at the intersection of Piner Road and Industrial Way.
