Golden Gate Ferry Vessel Availability Will Impact Direct Ballpark Service for Inital SF Giants Home Stand, Friday, April 5 through Sunday, April 14, 2019 - Ballpark Ferry Tickets Available Now

Golden Gate Ferry's M.S. San Francisco is undergoing necessary repairs in the shipyard. Therefore, due to vessel availability, direct Golden Gate Ferry service between Larkspur and Oracle Park will be impacted for San Francisco Giants games between Friday, April 5 and Sunday, April 14. Golden Gate Ferry regrets the inconvenience.

  • For Opening Day, Friday, April 5 and the day game on Wednesday, April 10, NO direct ferry service to Oracle Park will be offered. Fans are encouraged to ride regular Larkspur Ferry service to/from the San Francisco Ferry Building and walk or use Muni to travel between the Ferry Building and the ballpark. See details below. Regular Larkspur Ferry commuters should expect a high volume of riders on northbound afternoon trips.
  • On Saturday, April 6; Sunday, April 7; Friday, April 12 (TO ballpark only); Saturday, April 13; and Sunday, April 14, passengers using a mobility device will need to ride regular Larkspur Ferry service to/from the SF Ferry Building and will be provided with alternate service to/from the ballpark at no additional charge. For Saturday/Sunday games, regular service departs the Larkspur Terminal at 11:40 a.m. (20 minutes after the direct ballpark ferry). For Friday, April 12, regular service departs at 5:40 p.m. (5 minutes before the direct ballpark ferry). Please contact Golden Gate Ferry staff at any terminal to arrange this transportation. Returning from Oracle Park will also involve alternative service to the SF Ferry Building. We apologize for the inconvenience.
  • Golden Gate Ferry's commute services take precedence over our special event ferry services, which include ballpark service. For this reason, on Monday, April 8; Tuesday, April 9; and Thursday, April 11, Golden Gate Ferry will offer only direct ballpark service AFTER the game. Fans are encouraged to ride regular Larkspur Ferry service TO the San Francisco Ferry Building and walk or transfer to Muni to reach the ballpark. See details below.

Direct ballpark service will resume with the next home stand, beginning Friday, April 26. Visit our Ballpark Service page for more information about tickets, parking, and safety/security advisories.

Giants Ferry tickets are available now. Golden Gate Ferry continues to work with the San Francisco Giants and Tickets.com staff to improve the ticket purchase process, including the event calendars and ticket purchase pages.

Parking

Parking fees at the Larkspur Terminal and overflow lots (300 Larkspur Landing Circle) are required on weekdays between 5:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. All spaces (including HOV, disabled, and motorcycle parking) are subject to the fee, and any vehicle parked in either lot during this time is subject to the fee. Visit our Larkspur Ferry Parking page for more information and ways to pay.

Parking at the Larkspur Terminal and overflow lots is extremely limited. Riders are encouraged to use alternate modes of transportation to get to the terminal - visit our Larkspur Transit Alternatives page for complete details. Walking time from the overflow lot to the terminal is approximately 10-15 minutes - be sure to arrive early to allow plenty of time to meet the ferry departure!

For the day game on April 10, additional overflow parking will be available at the paved lot adjacent to Nordstrom's at the Village of Corte Madera shopping center. Shuttle buses will bring fans between this additional overflow lot and the Larkspur Ferry Terminal. Shuttles will depart this Village of Corte Madera lot at 10:25 a.m., 10:35 a.m., and 10:45 a.m.
