This Sunday night into Monday morning, Golden Gate Bridge crews will again close several lanes at the Toll Plaza for roadway maintenance. The lane closures will begin at 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 19, and last until 8:00 a.m. on Monday, July 20. Traffic on the Bridge will remain open in both directions, but drivers should expect to slow down around construction areas and may experience delays while the lane closures are in effect.
Beginning at 8:00 p.m. Sunday, the Bridge roadway approaching the toll plaza will be narrowed to two southbound lanes and one northbound lane to allow for roadway striping. Work is expected to be complete by 8:00 a.m. Monday morning, at which time the Bridge will be returned to a three southbound and three northbound lane configuration.
