Rider Alert 11/25-11/28 - Golden Gate Ferry Angel Island Service disruption

Due to dock construction, there is NO service to Angel Island on November 25, 26 & 27, 2024, Monday-Wednesday.

There is NO Golden Gate Ferry service on Thanksgiving Day: Thursday, November 28, 2024.

Ferry service will resume from San Francisco to Angel Island on Friday, November 29, 2024 on a Weekend/Holiday schedule. Regular weekday service returns on Monday, December 2, 2024.

Weeknight Lane Closures

The Golden Gate Bridge will have overnight lane closures during the week to allow for Suicide Deterrent System construction. Bridge remains open to traffic at all times in both directions. Click here for closure details

GGB EAST & WEST SIDEWALKS NARROWED DURING CONSTRUCTION

Sections of the GGB east and west sidewalks are narrowed due to construction staging and storage related to the Suicide Deterrent Net work. The east sidewalk remains open in its entirety during regular hours; the west sidewalk is to open to cyclists after weekday business hours.

Cyclists and pedestrians should anticipate brief delays due to traffic control on the sidewalks as materials and equipment are moved into place to support the ongoing construction work.
