September 2022 Golden Gate Transit Service Changes

Effective September 11, 2022, Golden Gate Transit will make schedule adjustments to improve system efficiency.

Schedule improvements for September  are designed to align schedules to meet current ridership demands. Due to increased traffic, this quarter ALL routes have modified weekday schedules. Many trips now depart EARLIER and/or arrive LATER. Please check new timetables carefully.

Service changes include:

Route 101
1. Many weekday trips leave EARLIER.

2. Adjustments to other trips. 

Route 114
1. First southbound trip moved later to meet riders’ needs.

2. Adjustments to other trips.

Route 130
1. Some southbound weekday trips arrive in San Francisco up to 9 minutes LATER.

2. Adjustments to other trips.

Route 132
1. Two new southbound trips departing the San Rafael Transit Center will serve the Larkspur Ferry Terminal at 4:56 am and 5:26 am. Read more here >>

Route 150
1. Some southbound weekday trips arrive in San Francisco up to 12 minutes LATER.

2. Adjustments to other trips.

Route 154
1. Southbound trips leave 9 minutes EARLIER.

2. Northbound trips arrive up to 5 minutes LATER.

Route 172
1. Southbound trips leave up to 20minutes EARLIER.

2. Northbound trips arrive up  to 10 minutes LATER.

Route 580
1. Some westbound weekday trips depart up to 18 minutes EARLIER.

2. Adjustments to other trips.

3. Weekend evening service extended by 2 hours (until 9:30 pm) eastbound and 1 hour (until 9:20 pm) westbound.
