Beginning December 13, 2021, there will be more weekday trips for Sausalito and Tiburon ferry customers, and Tiburon customers will now enjoy direct service to and from San Francisco without stopping in Sausalito. The new schedules will more than double the number of weekday trips between Sausalito, Tiburon, and San Francisco, giving passengers more options and flexibility for their weekday commute.
Current schedules from Tiburon and Sausalito offer only one morning trip and one afternoon trip during the week. After December 13, there will be three morning trips from both Sausalito and Tiburon into San Francisco, and increased trips in the afternoons in both directions.
With the direct service out of Tiburon, customers should expect shorter crossing times in addition to the more robust schedules.
Other changes to Golden Gate Ferry schedules include adjustments to Larkspur and Sausalito weekend schedules, Larkspur weekday schedules will stay the same.
