The Golden Gate Bridge, Highway and Transportation District sponsors four passenger advisory committees-
Members meet regularly to provide input and express the preferences of fellow passengers to transit managers and staff on a regular and on-going basis. All meetings are open to the public and language assistance is available for participants with limited English proficiency. Please see our event calendar for upcoming meetings.
NEW! Pedestrian and Bicycle Advisory Committee (PBAC)
This committee is set to meet quarterly and will advise the District on bicycle and pedestrian access and safety concerns for the Golden Gate Bridge and its approaches, and within the District’s transit facilities. Bicycle access and safety on Golden Gate Transit and Golden Gate Ferry will also be a focus. Meetings are open to the public and calendar events will be shared once dates are set for the meetings.
Ferry Passenger Advisory Committee (FPAC)
The Ferry Passenger Advisory Committee meets on the second Monday of selected months from 12:00 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. All ferry riders are encouraged to apply.
Bus Passenger Advisory Committee (FPAC)
The Bus Passengers Advisory Committee meets on the third Wednesday of every other month from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. All bus riders are encouraged to apply.
Advisory Committee on Accessibility Committee (FPAC)
The Advisory Committee on Accessibility meets quarterly on the third Thursday of the month from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. All riders are encouraged to apply.
