And, during Fleet Week from 10/7-10/14, uniformed military personnel will ride for free on Golden Gate Ferry!

THE icon of the Bay Area gives you a perfect view of the Air Show and Parade of Ships. The Bridge is a very popular spot during Fleet Week and we suggest reading our safety guidelines before visiting.
Get there by Bus
Take Route 101, 130, or 150 from San Francisco, Marin, or Sonoma counties and get off at the Golden Gate Bridge Toll Plaza. From there, you can walk to the east sidewalk and across the Bridge.
San Francisco Waterfront
From the Presidio Tunnel Tops, to Aquatic Park or Fisherman’s Wharf, the San Francisco Waterfront is the place to be during Fleet Week.
Get there by Bus
Take Route 101, 130, or 150 and get off at Richardson Ave & Francisco St. From there you can easily walk to the Presidio Tunnel Tops or Crissy Field. You can also hop on the Presidio GO Shuttle at a near-by stop and and ride straight to the heart of the Presidio.
Get there by Ferry
From any of our Marin County terminals (Larkspur, Sausalito, Tiburon), take Golden Gate Ferry to San Francisco and make your way to Fisherman’s Wharf and beyond. For a front row seat, try to time your Bay crossing with the air show schedule and watch the planes go by as you are on the water!
Marin Headlands
With sweeping views of the Bay and the City, the Marin Headlands offer many stunning locations to view the Air Show and Parade of Ships.
Get there by Bus
Angel Island
With miles of superb hiking trails, camping sites, beaches, and breathtaking views of the entire Bay Area, visitors are guaranteed to have a rich outdoor experience and excellent views of the Fleet Week events!
Get there by Ferry
From San Francisco, take the Angel Island Ferry and hike to the summit of Mount Livermore for the best panoramic views. Bike rentals and a tram tour are also available to get around the Island.
Sausalito
Enjoy Fleet Week in Sausalito and its stunning views, small-town charm and plenty of opportunities to dine and shop.
Get there by Bus
From San Rafael or San Francisco, take the Route 130 and get off on Bridgeway to take a stroll on the mile-long waterfront street.
Get there by Ferry
From San Francisco, take the Sausalito Ferry. Enjoy the unique view during the 30-minute crossing and arrive in the middle of downtown to explore the charms of this bayside city.
Tiburon
The Tiburon Peninsula offers great views of the Bay, the City, and the Golden Gate Bridge. Relax in Shoreline Park and enjoy the show!
Get there by Ferry
From San Francisco, take the Tiburon Ferry. You will arrive directly at Shoreline Park and a few steps from Main Street.
