Public Hearing on Proposed New Golden Gate Ferry Route & Fare to New Chase Center in San Francisco

On Friday, May 17, 2019, the Golden Gate Bridge, Highway and Transportation District Board of Directors approved the setting of a public hearing for Thursday, June 20, 2019, at 9:30 a.m. to receive public comments on the establishment of a new Golden Gate Ferry route and fare between the Larkspur Ferry Terminal and the new Chase Center in the Mission Bay area of San Francisco.
The proposed new ferry route would initially operate for evening Golden State Warriors games and potentially serve a undetermined number of special events, such as concerts. This new service would be analogous to the existing special event service to Oracle Park for San Francisco Giants baseball games and other events.
Public comments on the proposal may be submitted as follows:
- Attend the public hearing on Thursday, June 20;
- Email publichearing@goldengate.org; and
- Write the District Secretary, PO Box 9000, Presidio Station, San Francisco, CA 94129-0601.
All comments are considered equally without regard to the manner in which they are submitted. Therefore, individuals do not have to attend the public hearing in person if they have commented via email or in writing. All comments will be considered in the final recommendation and must be received by 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 20, 2019.
