Minor Schedule Changes & New Route Numbering System
Beginning December 12, 2021, Golden Gate Transit will make minor schedule adjustment and introduce new route numbers to help customers better distinguish between Golden Gate Transit and other Bay Area bus systems.
Schedule improvements for December are minimal and are designed to align schedules to meet current ridership demands. Preview new schedules here

Golden Gate Transit has developed a new three-digit numbering system that more clearly defines routes than the previous two-digit numbering system.
Other than Route 101, all current routes will get a new three-digit number. Notices will be posted at all active bus stops, and customers will be notified via email and text message alerts starting the week of November 4th.
