Stay Connected on the Move
Golden Gate Transit offers free WiFi on all its buses. Customers can check email or surf the Internet while they ride the bus to work or school or as they make their way across town. The service uses a dual carrier system (Verizon and AT&T) which ensures more reliable coverage.
To connect, search for the “GGT-WIFI” wireless network (under “Settings” in most devices). Some devices may even be set up to automatically search for available networks. No password is necessary, but customers will need to accept Terms and Conditions of Use.
Helpful Tips:
- If you're unable to see the “GGT-WIFI” network, make sure your device is WiFi-enabled. Sometimes, powering a device off and on will help too.
- Please be courteous and limit use of streaming audio and video.
- Avoid downloading large files.
- Use earbuds and be considerate of fellow riders.
