Golden Gate Transit schedules are typically adjusted quarterly to improve system efficiency. This quarter, however, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and to better match service with ridership, effective Sunday, June 14 and Monday, June 15, almost every Golden Gate Transit route will be modified. In addition, some route variants will be suspended until further notice, as follows:
- Route 4C
- Route 24C
- Route 24X
- Route 25
- Route 54C
- Most Route 101X trips

Additionally, there will be more changes coming in July as we continue to right-size our service levels based on current ridership. Once those changes are available, we will push them out to you. Due to this changing situation, a Summer 2020 Golden Gate Transit Guide will NOT be printed. Instead, our online bus schedules will reflect our current service levels. Please note, schedules may be modified as ridership numbers change over this next quarter; these changes will always be reflected in our online timetables.
Golden Gate Transit continues to follow the recommendations of federal, state, and local health agencies with respect to protecting the health and safety of our employees and the public. This includes, among other things, cleaning vehicles with a disinfectant on a regular basis, requiring face coverings while boarding and riding a bus, and limiting the number of riders on buses to maintain safe social distancing.
