Golden Gate Bridge Toll Plaza Restriping on October 23
On Monday, October 23, 2023, some vehicle travel lanes at the Golden Gate Bridge toll plaza will be closed from 9 p.m. until 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 26 for overnight restriping. Traffic on the Bridge will remain open in both directions, but drivers should expect delays while the lane closures are in effect.
To minimize travel impacts, toll plaza lane closures are being coordinated with regular overnight lane closures across the Bridge for the construction of the Suicide Deterrent System.
Traffic control and signage will be in place during toll plaza roadway construction. Drivers should plan to slow down and proceed with caution around work areas during the lane closures.
Additionally, the southbound Golden Gate Transit bus stop will be closed overnight due to restriping in the southbound curb lane.
