Route 76 Realignment

Golden Gate Transit is pleased to announce that we have made significant progress in resolving Route 76 alignment issues. A rider survey is being distributed to Route 76 passengers over the next several days to collect information on Route 76 customers' use of the route to help determine route improvements in East Petaluma. If you are a Route 76 customer and will not be able to take the survey on the bus, please take the online version by clicking here. As a thank you for completing the survey, passengers who provide their name and address will be sent 2 complimentary one-way tickets for use on Golden Gate Transit. (One survey per customer, please.)

While all options are being considered, Route 76 has temporarily been realigned to not operate on South McDowell Blvd, Baywood Dr and Lakeville Hwy. Petaluma Transit is temporarily operating a free shuttle along the S McDowell/Baywood/Lakeville Hwy route (see below for schedule) to/from the Petaluma Fairgrounds Park & Ride lot where passengers can transfer to/from San Francisco on GGT Route 76. Passengers can also drive to the Park & Ride lot where there is plenty of free parking (see maps below).
