Golden Gate Transit Returns to the Salesforce Transit Center Bus Plaza on Saturday, July 13, 2019

On Saturday, July 13, 2019, Golden Gate Transit buses will return to the Salesforce Transit Center bus plaza, between Fremont and Beale streets on the street level. Routes 30, 70, 101, and 101X will begin and end service at the Transit Center, and will no longer serve the nearby temporary stops at Main & Folsom streets (a northbound pick-up stop) and Beale & Howard streets (a southbound drop-off stop).

Background

The Salesforce Transit Center is a fully integrated transit hub capable of getting people to any major destination in the region from one central location using only public transportation. The Transit Center initially opened in August 2018 and closed about six weeks later after structural issues were discovered. It has now re-opened.
