New Wave Ferry Shuttle — Route 31 — Serves Miracle Mile and San Rafael Transit Center

Service Begins Monday, September 14, 2015

A new route (Route 31) of the FREE Larkspur Ferry Shuttle, The Wave, will begin operating on Monday, September 14, with service to the San Rafael Transit Center. Based on the popularity of the first two Wave shuttles (Routes 25 and 37), Route 31 has been added and will operate between 4th Street & Greenfield Avenue, the San Rafael Transit Center, and the Larkspur Ferry Terminal.

Route 31 will serve Larkspur Ferry departures from 7:00 am to 10:10 am and 5:10 pm to 7:25 pm. It will serve arrivals from 6:50 am to 8:05 am and 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Fare Information

The new shuttle is is FREE for ferry customers. Clipper customers simply tag on when they board the shuttle and then tag off when they exit the shuttle. Cash customers pay the ferry fare when they board the shuttle, and they'll be issued a “transbay” transfer to present to a Terminal Agent at the Larkspur Terminal. Local riders (customers not transferring to a departing Ferry) must pay the local bus fare using cash or Clipper.
