Ride the 4:15 p.m. Ferry Directly to Oracle Park!

Relax onboard Golden Gate Ferry for the hour-long trip to Oracle Park to enjoy a free live simulcast of San Francisco Opera’s production of Gounod’s Romeo & Juliet. The ferry trip departs the Larkspur Ferry Terminal at 4:15 p.m. and returns 30 minutes after the conclusion of the performance.

Note: These ferry tickets to Opera at the Ballpark are NOT refundable. They can also be used on regular Larkspur Ferry service on the day of the event (Saturday, September 21, 2019) only. Clipper cards are NOT accepted on this service.

Important Notes - PLEASE READ

  • Opera at the Ballpark 2017We are using the same ticketing system for this Opera event as we do for our Giants Ferry service. Be sure to purchase tickets for the SEPTEMBER 21 event (see screenshot at right). All other dates shown in the monthly calendars are for SF Giants baseball games.
  • Tickets are sold separately for the trip TO ORACLE PARK and the trip TO LARKSPUR. If traveling in both directions, add both "events" to your cart. See screenshot at right - "GGF - 4:15PM PDT" is for the trip TO ORACLE PARK and "GGF" is for the return trip TO LARKSPUR. Click the "T" to purchase, and select ticket quantity on following page.
  • Children 4 & under do not need a ticket to ride. If you'll be traveling with children 4 & under, please e-mail after you've purchase ferry tickets with "OPERA AT THE BALLPARK, SEPT. 21" in SUBJECT line, and your full name and address, direction(s) of travel, and the number of children in the BODY of the email.

Departure Times

  • Ferry departs Larkspur promptly at 4:15 p.m. Travel time is 60 minutes. The ferry docks right outside Oracle Park's center field entrance.
  • Ferry departs Oracle Park promptly 30 minutes after the conclusion of the simulcast.


Parking at the Larkspur Terminal is free on weekends and after 1:00 p.m. on weekdays. Drivers are advised to use extra CAUTION when driving in the Ferry Terminal parking lot.

Security Advisories

  1. Passengers may NOT bring the following items on board the ferry or into Oracle Park: weapons or security-sensitive objects, open containers (alcoholic or non-alcoholic), alcoholic beverages, hard-sided coolers, and briefcases/diaper bags/purses/ backpacks/bags larger than 16"x16"x8".
  2. The following additional items are NOT allowed into Oracle Park: laser pointers, air-powered noise makers, non-alcoholic beer or wine, glass bottles/metal cans, animals except certified service dogs and service dogs in training.
  3. Passengers may NOT leave items unattended on the ferry.
  4. For the safe management of passengers and crew, Golden Gate Ferry will suspend the sale of alcoholic beverages 20 minutes prior to arrival in Larkspur.
