On Saturday, May 21, from San Francisco Piers 30-32, KFOG FM 104.5 presents its 12th annual "KFOG KaBOOM” free concert and fireworks display over the San Francisco Bay.   At 4:30 pm, the free concert begins with talent including: The Wallflowers, John Butler Trio, and Kathleen Edwards. At 9 pm, the extraordinary fireworks display caps the event. KFOG estimates that 350,000 people will be lined up along the Embarcadero Promenade for the show.

San Francisco Piers 30-32 are located just south of the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge, a 15 to 25 minute walk from the Golden Gate San Francisco Ferry Terminal. Or use free MUNI transfer from The Embarcadero Station by taking the N-Judah streetcar along the Embarcadero to the Embarcadero/Brannan stop; N-Judah runs approximately every ten minutes.

Golden Gate Larkspur Ferry is also providing direct service to SBC Park on that day. The ferry will arrive at SBC Park at approximately 4:15 p.m. and will depart 30 minutes after the final out of the Giants-As game. Tickets on this ferry can be purchased in advance through (service fee applies).

Advance ticket purchases on this special event service is strongly advised.

Customers returning to Marin County after the fireworks show can also take Golden Gate Transit bus Routes 70 or 80, which depart from Mission and 1st streets at 9:20 pm, 9:52 pm, 10:50 pm, 11:53 pm, 12:57 am.
