ANNUAL PRESIDIO 10 RACE CLOSES

GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE SIDEWALKS

FROM 7:30 am to 10 am

The annual Presidio 10 Race, benefiting The Guardsmen and The Ashlyn Dyer Foundation, will take place on Sunday morning April 17 starting at 8 am near the Sports Basement, 610 Old Mason Street in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. The race heads directly to the WEST SIDEWALK of the Golden Gate Bridge. Runners then return south using the EAST SIDEWALK.

Due to the large numbers of race participants (up to 3,000), from about 7:30 am to about 10:00 am, both the EAST and WEST SIDEWALKS BE CLOSED to all other access including pedestrians and bicyclists.

During this time, bicyclists may use the FREE bike shuttle which will operate in both directions across the Bridge. The shuttle will stop in the clearly marked designated area SOUTHEAST parking lot and on the NORTHEAST side of the Bridge at the northbound Alexander Avenue off-ramp bus stop area.

NOTE ABOUT PARKING: The Sports Basement parking lot will be closed to participants on the day of the event. Participants are advised to park in the Presidio Parade Grounds Parking Lot and walk to the Start/Finish area.
