PRESIDIO 10 RACE CROSSES BRIDGE SIDEWALKS
ON SUNDAY MORNING APRIL 6, 2008
The Presidio 10 Race, benefiting The Guardsmen and The Ashlyn Dyer Foundation, will start at 8 am on April 6, 2008, in The Presidio of San Francisco. Runners can run either a 10-mile or a 10-kilometer course. Both courses will start and finish at Crissy Field. The course crosses north over the Golden Gate Bridge west sidewalk and returns south over the east sidewalk.
West Sidewalk Closed to BIKES from Approximately 8 am to 9:30 am
From approximately 8 am to 9:30 am, bicyclists will not have access to both the east and west sidewalks. Alternatively, during this time, bicyclists will be shuttled across the Bridge, in both directions. Bicyclists can catch a shuttle in the designated area southeast parking lot or on the north side of the Bridge at the northbound Alexander Avenue off-ramp bus stop area.
East Sidewalk Closed to PEDESTRIANS and BIKES from Approx. 8:30 am to 10 am
