Continuing through mid 2009, suspender rope (the vertical ones) painting operations will be undertaken on the EAST sidewalk (the one that faces San Francisco) of the Golden Gate Bridge. The work is dependent on weather conditions. Read full details.
- Ongoing: Potential Detour on North Side of Bridge
The portion of Conzelman Road below the north side of the Golden Gate Bridge is open to bicycle and pedestrian traffic. However, this will be closed in the event the Department of Homeland Security raises the security to "orange" or "red." If closed, use Alexander Avenue to access Fort Baker, Discovery Museum and Sausalito.
