Compensation and Benefits

The District's comprehensive wage and benefits program includes:

• Competitive salaries
• Vacation, illness and family leave plans
• Thirteen paid holidays (includes two "floating" holidays) per year
• Participation in the California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS); most employees contribute approximately 8% of their salary toward their retirement. The District pays a significantly greater portion, reviewed and established by CalPERS on a periodic basis

• Medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug plans for employees and qualified dependents
