Expressive Activity Permits

Some expressive activities and all special events require an advance permit. Visit our Permits page for current guidelines.

Filming & Photography Permits Required

An advance permit, with associated fees, is required for filming or photography for all commercial uses of recordings and images taken on the property of the Golden Gate Bridge. Please visit our Permits page to see if you will require a permit. If you wish to apply for a permit, please email filming@goldengate.org with as much detail as possible. Permits require a 30-day advance request.

Lost and Found

BUS Lost and Found: Lost and found is located at the Customer Service Center (see above for location and hours), with the exception of lost bicycles on GGT buses. Call 511 (toll-free) or 415-455-2000 (outside the Bay Area) to claim your item. To retreive a bicycle lost on a GGT bus, the pickup location is 1011 Andersen Drive, San Rafael during weekday business hours (8:30am - 4:30pm).

FERRY Lost and Found: Call 415-925-5565 and leave a detailed message with name and contact info, description of lost item, date/time of loss, vessel, etc.
