SUMMARY OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
MEETING OF OCTOBER 26, 2007
| 1. | Authorized an Addendum to the Ninth Amendment to the Professional Services Agreement with HNTB Corporation, Inc., relative to the Phase II Seismic Retrofit Project, in an amount not to exceed $250,000, for additional scope of work and extension of time to provide construction management and inspection support services; and, authorized a budget increase in the FY 07/08 District Division Capital Budget in the amount of $250,000. |
| 2. | Authorized an Amendment to the Professional Services Agreement with HDR Engineering, Inc., relative to the Phase I Seismic Retrofit Project, in an amount not to exceed $350,000, to prepare the design, calculations, plans and specifications to repair the Beam Span; and, authorized the addition of a new capital project, Beam Span Repair, in the amount of $3,000,000. |
| 3. | Authorized execution of a Professional Services Agreement with Mercer, Inc., dba Mercer Health & Benefits, relative to Request for Proposals No. 2008-D-1, Consultant to Provide Health and Welfare Insurance Broker Services, in an amount not to exceed $731,204, for a three-year term, effective November 1, 2007, with two one-year options to be exercised at the discretion of the General Manager or his/her designee, in an amount not to exceed $151,857, for year four and in an amount not to exceed $157,931 for year five. |
