BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING

JULY 27, 2007

The Board of Directors of the Golden Gate Bridge, Highway and Transportation District (District) met in regular session in the Board Room, Administration Building, Toll Plaza, San Francisco, California, on Friday, July 27, 2007, at 10:00 a.m., President Moylan presiding.

Presentation of Employee of the Month Award for July 2007 to Jeff Dion, Administrative Assistant, District Division President Moylan presented the Employee of the Month Award for July 2007 to Jeff Dion, Administrative Assistant, District Division, and expressed his congratulations on behalf of the Board of Directors.

ENGINEER’S REPORT

4.	District Engineer Denis Mulligan reported that all items contained in the Engineer’s Report were informational.

REPORT OF THE TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE/COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING OF JULY 12, 2007

5.	Authorize Establishing a Round-Trip Special Event Ferry Fare for Ferry Service Between the Larkspur Ferry Terminal and the Sausalito Ferry Landing Over the 2007 Labor Day Weekend Directors BROWN/KERN Ordinance No. 2007-02 authorizes establishing the following round trip special event ferry fare for ferry service between the Larkspur Ferry Terminal and the Sausalito Ferry Landing over the 2007 Labor Day weekend, as part of the Metropolitan Transportation Commission traffic mitigation program for the scheduled closure of the Bay Bridge:

	Basic Fare	$7.00	Age 6 and up, without allowing the use of discounts.
	Child Fare	Free	Up to 2 children ages 5 and under with a fare-paying adult. The fare for additional children is $7.00 each.
