SUMMARY OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
MEETING OF JULY 13, 2007
| 1. | Ratified emergency action of the General Manager relative to Contract No. 2008-FT-2, San Francisco Ferry Terminal Emergency Berth Repairs. |

| 2. | Approved actions relative to the award of Contract No. 2007-FT-3, Larkspur Ferry Terminal Administration Building Improvements: |
|
a. |
Rejected the bid protest submitted by Northern California Electrical Construction Industry, dated June 12, 2007; |
|
b. |
Authorized award of contract to KCK Builders, Inc., in the amount of $412,000; |
|
c. |
Authorized a contingency fund in the amount $41,200, equal to 10% of the contract award; and, |
|
Authorized a budget increase in the FY 07/08 Ferry Transit Division Capital Budget in the amount of $218,000. |

| 3. | Authorized operation of the proposed additional bus and ferry services to be operated over the 2007 Labor Day Weekend, including the setting of a Public Hearing to establish a round-trip special event ferry fare of $7.00. |

| 4. | Approved a 12-month Agreement with the Marin County Transit District for the provision of intercounty paratransit service, effective July 1, 2007 through June 30, 2008. |
|
| 5. | Authorized award of Contract No. 2008-BT-1, Subscription Bus Service, to CUSA FL, LLC, dba Franciscan Lines, A Coach America Company, for the provision of subscription bus service. |
|
| 6. | Authorized execution of a Master Agreement with the Department of Transportation, State of California (Caltrans), for state-funded transit projects. |
|
| 7. | Authorized execution of an Agreement for Nonmotorized Transportation Pilot Program funds with the County of Marin, for improved signage at the San Rafael Transit Center. |
|
| 8. | Authorized execution of an amendment to the Professional Services Agreement with SunGard Bi-Tech, to provide host servers used for IFAS and Spear technology applications relative to the District’s financial management information system, at a total cost of $312,320. |
|
| 9. | Approved amendments to the Human Resources Guide relative to the Deputy General Manager positions. |
|
| 10. | Approved a separate policy relative to the California State Family Rights Act; and, amend the Human Resources Guide accordingly. |
|
| 11. | Authorized a Resolution of Appreciation for former Director Michael F. Martini, in recognition of his dedicated service to the Golden Gate Bridge, Highway and Transportation District Board of Directors. |
