SUMMARY OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
MEETING OF FEBRUARY 23, 2007

   
1.
Approved actions relative to the filing of a grant application with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security for FY 05/06.
 
2.
Authorized filing grant applications with the Federal Transit Administration for FY 06/07 Section 5307 and Section 5309 for federal grant funds to support various capital projects.
 
3.
Approved renewal of the Marine Insurance Program.
   
4.
Approved support of Senate Bill 124 to amend the California Vehicle Code toll enforcement policy to facilitate the collection of tolls from toll evaders with vehicles registered outside the State of California.
 
5.
Authorize award of Contract No. 2007-D-8, Printing of Golden Gate Transit System Timetables and Guides, to Consolidated Printers, Inc., in the amount of $166,423, for a one-year term, with four successive one-year options.
 
6.
Approved five-year extensions from 2007 to 2012 to the terms of the employment agreements for the Auditor-Controller and the Secretary of the District.
