SUMMARY OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

MEETING OF SEPTEMBER 9, 2005

 

1. Authorized the elimination of Golden Gate Transit regional commute shuttle bus Routes 32 and 34 due to low ridership, effective December 11, 2005.
   
2. Authorized execution of amendments to the Professional Services Agreement and the Software License Agreement with GIRO, Inc., relative to Contract No. 97-BT-8, Purchase, Delivery, Installation and Support of Software Program for Golden Gate Transit Fixed Route Bus Scheduling System, for long-term upgrade and maintenance support for HASTUS software modules used in bus scheduling, dispatching and timekeeping operations, for a six-year period beginning with FY 05/06, at a cost schedule as outlined in the staff report submitted to the Transportation Committee on September 9, 2005.
   
3. Approved cancellation of the September 23, 2005 Board of Directors meeting.
