NOTICE
OF PUBLIC HEARING
DISTRICTS DRAFT SHORT-RANGE TRANSIT PLAN
FOR FISCAL YEARS 2005 THROUGH 2014
The Golden Gate Bridge, Highway and Transportation District will
hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, September 9, 2004,
at 9:00 a.m., in the Board Room, Administration Building,
San Francisco, CA, for the purpose of receiving public comment
on the Districts Draft Short-Range Transit Plan for Fiscal
Years 2005 through 2014 (Draft SRTP). This is a continuation from
the July 8, 2004 public hearing to provide the public with additional
time to comment on the Draft SRTP.
The Plan identifies past financial conditions, future financial
plans and possible changes to the Golden Gate Transit Bus, Golden
Gate Ferry and other District transit services for which the District
receives federal or state funds.
The Draft SRTP can be obtained by telephone at (415) 257-4417,

Public comments will be received at the Public Hearing or may
be presented in writing to: Janet S. Tarantino, Secretary of the
