Transit Passes for Marin Transit
On July 1, 2009, Marin Transit introduced three new discount passes for use on local bus services: 1-day, 7-day and 31-day.
The passes are a credit card-sized fare card with a magnetic stripe and can be used for an unlimited number of trips within the designated time frame. The 1-day pass will only be available for purchase aboard the bus, and 7-day and 31-day passes will be available for purchase online, over the phone or at local vendors. To use the new passes, swipe them through the farebox each time you board a bus. You will no longer need to get transfers from the drivers.
