Central Subway Construction Project Impacts Inbound GGT Commute Bus Operations
Effective Monday, December 1, 2014 - March 11, 2015

The SFMTA Central Subway construction project continues to impact Golden Gate Transit's southbound commute service.

GGT's southbound commute routes will NOT operate on Howard Street. Financial District commute buses will serve all stops up to and including 1st Street & Stevenson Street, continue on 1st Street, make a right onto Harrison Street, and serve the Muni stop at Harrison St Farside 2nd Street (final stop). Note: the trips on Routes 4/24/54 that now operate to 8th & Folsom serve the Harrison & 2nd Street stop and then the 8th & Folsom Street stop. Civic Center southbound commute buses will serve all stops up to and including Folsom Street Nearside 7th Street and will also serve the Muni stop at Folsom Street Farside 5th Street (final stop). See map below for detour information (dotted green lines).

These detours—expected to last several months—will NOT impact GGT's basic service on Routes 10, 70, 80, 101, and 101X, and are NOT expected to impact outbound afternoon/evening commute service.

GGT appreciates your patience during construction.
