The Golden Gate Bridge, Highway and Transportation District is pleased to announce the hiring of a new Public Information Manager, Priya David Clemens. Media inquiries may be directed to Ms. Clemens, effective immediately.

"I'm honored to serve as the spokesperson for this internationally iconic Bridge," said Clemens. "At the same time, I'm looking forward to helping our team share information about our Golden Gate Transit Bus and Golden Gate Ferry systems that keep the Bay Area moving every day."

Ms. Clemens joins the Bridge District with a distinguished background as a reporter and producer for fifteen years. She holds a master's degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Southern California. Her career began in Santa Barbara, California as a producer for KKFX. She went on to work for NBC Network News and MSNBC as a producer and embedded reporter during the 2004 presidential campaign. In the Bay Area she worked as a reporter for KTVU, Channel 2 from 2005 to 2008. More recently, Ms. Clemens worked as a network news correspondent and anchor for CBS News, based in New York. In 2013, she launched Seasons Productions, a boutique San Francisco-based video production firm, which recently won two national awards.
