GOLDEN GATE FERRY TERMINAL TICKET OFFICES DISCONTINUE
DAILY HOURS, AFTER FRIDAY JULY 8, 2011
As part of the cost-saving efforts underway at Golden Gate Bridge, Highway and Transportation District (GGBHTD), the Golden Gate Ferry Terminal ticket offices at Larkspur and San Francisco Ferry will no longer be open on a daily basis after Friday, July 8, 2011. The Board of Directors authorized the elimination of 7 full time ticket agent positions with the understanding that the ticket offices would no longer offer daily hours and ticket sales would be replaced by automated ticket vending machines which have been in operation now for several months at the ferry terminals.
Most Golden Gate Ferry ticket options may be purchased through the new self-serve ticket vending machines located at Larkspur and San Francisco terminals as well as the Sausalito Landing.
THE FOLLOWING MAY NOT BE PURCHASED THROUGH THE TICKET MACHINES:
GIANTS FERRY TICKETS TO AT&T PARK
- May not be purchased from the new self-serve ticket vending machines
- May be purchased via www.tickets.com with service fees (until 4pm the day before a game/event)
- May be purchased at any Giants Dugout Store with service fees (until 4pm the day of a game); find the store nearest you here: http://mlb.mlb.com/sf/ballpark/dugout_stores/index.jsp
- May be purchased at the Larkspur Ferry Terminal ticket office when it opens only for the sale of AT&T FERRY TICKETS ONLY on ALL GAME DAYS and on July 17, 21, 31, August 22, and September 1, 8, 25
- The Larkspur Terminal Ticket office hours on these specific dates are Monday-Friday: 11:15 am – 7:00 pm with closures from 12:45 to 1 pm, 2:50 to 3:20 pm, and 5:15 to 5:30 pm. Saturday-Sunday: 9:15 am to 2 pm, and 3 pm to 5:00 pm. (NOTE: on days of weekday day games, the ticket office opens at 9:45am)
- “Will Call” tickets may ONLY be picked up on the day of the game that the tickets are for during the dates and hours noted above

Youth or Senior (Age 65+) Clipper cards may be purchased at the following locations:

Bay Crossings: San Francisco Ferry Building and Embarcadero BART Station; Monday through Friday 7:00 am – 6:45 pm
In Marin County:
Golden Gate Transit, 1011 Andersen Drive, San Rafael; Monday through Friday, 8:30 am-4:30 pm
Whistlestop Wheels, 930 Tamalpais, San Rafael; Monday through Friday 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
