Possible Weather Impacts to Golden Gate Tiburon Ferry Service to/from San Francisco on Thursday, February 14, 2019

High winds and difficult navigational conditions could impact Golden Gate Ferry service in Tiburon on Thursday, February 14, 2019.

If the captain determines that it is unsafe to dock in Tiburon, the 5:30 a.m. ferry departure from Tiburon to San Francisco will be cancelled. For the later Tiburon departures at 6:40 a.m., 7:55 a.m., and 9:10 a.m., bus bridges to the San Francisco Ferry Building may be available. A follow up alert will be sent early Thursday morning. All morning departures from San Francisco to Tiburon could also be impacted.

If the harsh weather conditions continue, Thursday evening's Tiburon Ferry trips could also be impacted. Evening departures from San Francisco would depart at 4:00 p.m., 5:30 p.m., and 6:45 p.m. and travel to Sausalito, and bus bridges would shuttle passengers to Tiburon. Thursday's evening departures from Tiburon to San Francisco could also be impacted. A follow up alert will be sent on Thursday to confirm this plan.

We are sorry for any inconveniences this may cause as we plan safe navigation through this strong weather pattern.
