Ride the Golden Gate Larkspur Ferry to the Ferry Building Marketplace Sixth Annual Harvest Festival this Weekend!

The Ferry Building Marketplace, located in the historic San Francisco Ferry Building at the foot of Market Street, is celebrating its sixth annual Harvest Festival this weekend, with a range of free events including Honey Tasting, Olive Oil Tasting, Live Music, and a Barnyard by the Bay. Throughout the weekend Marketplace merchants will be offering a delightful abundance of special fare, tastings and demonstrations. Specially scheduled events include:

Saturday, October 25th, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Ferry Plaza Farmers Market Harvest Festival - In addition to the bountiful Saturday Ferry Plaza Farmers Market and the traditional Farmers Talk and Cooking Demo, there is a cornucopia of free family events, including: Apple Cider Pressing, and Heirloom Apple Tasting, Wool Spinning, and Butter Making demos. Inside the Marketplace, merchants will offer special seasonal tastings and products.

Sunday, October 26th, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Farmers Market & Marketplace Autumnal Offerings - The celebration of autumn will continue on Sunday in the Marketplace with live music by Folk Musician Jackie Jones, gypsy jazz music by Golden Gate Hot Club and communal tables decorated with Fall Foliage for shoppers to enjoy their seasonal purchases. The Barnyard by the Bay starts at 11:30 am on the outside by the north arcades.

As the Larkspur Terminal parking lot is currently under construction, please pay close attention to the areas closed off with caution tape and to terminal personnel who will be directing customers.
