Expect Delays Southbound Due to Partial Southbound Lane Closure on Golden Gate Bridge, 3 Northbound OPEN with 2 Lanes Southbound at North End Opening Up After the Construction Zone to 3 Lanes Southbound

Giants Fans May Want to Take Giants Ferry to Ballpark for Tonight’s Game

Due to unraveling asphalt in the southbound lane just south of the Anchorage, the Golden Gate Bridge will have temporary lane closures. Drivers can expect delays going southbound and northbound.

The lane configuration will be as follows until approximately 11 p.m. tonight:

  • 2 SOUTHBOUND LANES (from the north end of the Bridge to just south of the North Anchorage where the new paving ends, then opening up to 3 SOUTHBOUND LANES across the remainder of the Bridge)

Driving to Tonight’s San Francisco Giants Game

In anticipation of delays going southbound over the Golden Gate Bridge into San Francisco, drivers can use these alternatives:

  • Use the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge (I-580) to I-80 West to the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge. For complete directions from San Rafael to AT&T Park, click here.
  • Take the Giants Ferry from Larkspur Ferry Terminal to AT&T Park. There are currently 300 tickets available for tonight's Giants Ferry. Space is limited, so be sure to purchase your tickets ahead of time. Tickets can be purchased here.
