Saturday, May 9, 9 am to 2 pm, Expect Crowds on Golden Gate Bridge East Sidewalk for Annual Girl Scout Event
On Saturday May 9, 2009, from approximately 9 am to 2 pm, up to 8,000 Girl Scouts will walk across the Golden Gate Bridge East Sidewalk as an event permitted by the Bridge District. The event is an annual Girl Scout event “Golden Gate Bridging 2009.” Cyclists will have full access on the west sidewalk per the normal weekend procedures.
