NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
A PROPOSAL TO ESTABLISH A NEW REGIONAL BUS FARE FOR TRAVEL BETWEEN
THE EAST BAY AND SAN FRANCISCO AND
BETWEEN THE EAST BAY AND SONOMA COUNTY
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Golden Gate Bridge, Highway and Transportation District (District) will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, January 12, 2006, at 9:30 a.m., in the Board Room, Administration Building, Golden Gate Bridge Toll Plaza, San Francisco, CA, to receive public comment on a proposal to establish a new regional bus fare for travel between the East Bay and San Francisco and between the East Bay and Sonoma County. Due to an oversight in the development of the new fare structure, effective December 11, 2005, East Bay to San Francisco and East Bay to Sonoma County fares were incorrectly published at $3.25. It is proposed that this new regional bus fare be implemented on January 15, 2006.
