A goal of tripling the sales over last year has been set.
The Golden Gate Bridge Ornament Program is modeled after the White House
Historical Association Annual Ornament program which began modestly
in 1981 with sales of less than 2,000 ornaments and has progressed to
become the largest single Christmas ornament program in the U.S. as
orders topped 1.2 million in 2003.
