The Bids are currently under review by the District. For informational purposes, the contract may be awarded to the lowest bidder after the bids are reviewed by staff and attorney and determined to be responsive and responsible. However, the awarded bid will also need to be approved by Caltrans and the Federal Highway Administration. Staff will then prepare a written report that will include a recommendation to present to the Building and Operating Committee for consideration. The Committee’s recommendation will be forwarded to the Board of Directors for approval. Bidders will be notified of the actual date and location of these meetings, and a staff report will be sent by email to all Bidders beforehand.
