NO BART Service Between Oakland & San Francisco—August 1 & 2 and September 5, 6 & 7, 2015 (Labor Day Weekend)

Could Impact Golden Gate Transit Route 42 Service

There will be no transbay BART train service between the West Oakland and Embarcadero stations on the weekends of August 1-2 and September 5-7 (Labor Day Weekend) while BART maintenance crews perform vital repairs to improve track safety.

During this time, due to anticipated additional traffic on the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge and in the East Bay, Golden Gate Transit (GGT) Route 42 schedules may be impacted.

Riders who usually ride BART from the East Bay into San Francisco and transfer to Golden Gate Transit or Ferry for continuing service to the North Bay should consider riding BART to El Cerrito Del Norte station and transferring to GGT Route 42. Connections to other GGT routes can be made at the San Rafael Transit Center.

Visit bart.gov and read this flyer for more information.

For trip planning assistance, please call 511 (say "Golden Gate Transit," then "operator" to bypass recorded messages)/TDD 711.
