MANZANITA PARK & RIDE LOT, MILL VALLEY, BEGINNING AROUND THURSDAY, JUNE 24, 2010
On or about Thursday, June 24, and continuing for approximately 4-5 weeks, Caltrans will be working on the Manzanita Park & Ride lot (Hwy 1 & US 101, Mill Valley). Work will take place on weekdays only and will include reconstruction of the existing sidewalk used for bus stops, construction of a new sidewalk/pedestrian path, repaving the parking area used for accessible parking, and repaving the area near the bus stop. Golden Gate Transit customers (Routes 4, 10, 17, 66, and 92) are advised that the bus stop may be temporarily relocated to the south end of the lot (Buckeye Restaurant end) during this time. Signage will be displayed directing customers. In addition, approximately 55 parking spaces will be unavailable. If the lot is full, customers are directed to the nearby park and ride lot across Shoreline Hwy at Pohono Street. Other park and ride lots are located at US 101 @ Spencer Ave and US 101 @ Seminary Dr.
DOWNTOWN FARMERS MARKET FESTIVAL, SAN RAFAEL, EVERY THURSDAY, APRIL 8 THRU SEPTEMBER 2010
Between 4pm and 10pm on Thursdays from April 8 to September, Golden Gate Transit Routes 22, 23, 26, and 27 will operate on a detour in downtown San Rafael due to the weekly Downtown Farmers Market Festival. During this time, bus stops located at 4th & Court Streets will NOT be served. Customers are directed to nearby bus stops at 4th & C Streets or the Transit Center (3rd & Hetherton).
COMMERCE BLVD CONSTRUCTION, ROHNERT PARK, INTERMITTENT CLOSURES
On non-inclement weather days, between 8pm and 5am, Golden Gate Transit Routes 72, 73, and 75 will operate on a detour around Commerce Blvd in Rohnert Park due to roadway construction. During this time, the bus stop at Redwood Dr & Commerce Blvd (bus stop in front of Chili's Restaurant) will NOT be served. Customers are directed to nearby stops at Roberts Lake Rd & Golf Course Dr and Rohnert Park Expressway Park & Ride (at Hwy 101).
INDIAN VALLEY CAMPUS OF THE COLLEGE OF MARIN, IGNACIO, BEGINNING MONDAY, AUGUST 17, 2009
Beginning Monday, August 17, 2009, and continuing until further notice, the Golden Gate Transit Route 51 bus stop located at Indian Valley Campus lot #4 will be temporarily relocated to lot #6.
LOS RANCHITOS ROAD, SAN RAFAEL, BEGINNING JUNE 8, 2009
Beginning Monday, June 8, 2009, the northbound lane of Los Ranchitos Road between Lincoln Ave and North San Pedro Road will be closed to traffic due to construction (southbound traffic will NOT be affected). Until further notice, Golden Gate Transit Routes 45 and 45K will NOT serve the northbound bus stop at North San Pedro Rd & Merrydale Rd. Customer are directed to the nearest stop located at Civic Center Dr & North San Pedro Rd (by the Civic Center Post Office).
