Seniors 65 and up |
50% off the adult cash fare when paying cash or using a Value Card and showing a Bay Area Regional Transit (RTC) Discount Card, Medicare Card or ID from another California transit system. 50% discount is also available when using a senior Clipper card (formerly TransLink). |
| Persons with Disabilities | 50% off the adult cash fare when paying cash or using a Value Card and showing an RTC Discount Card, California DMV Disabled with Placard or ID card from another transit operator. 50% discount is also available when using an RTC/Clipper card (formerly TransLink). Personal service assistants are also eligible for a 50% discount off the adult cash fare only when accompanying an authorized person with disabilities who has a red "dot" or attendant logo on their RTC Discount Card. |
Medicare Cardholders |

| Local Riders | Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Transit Passes offer a discount on local bus rides within Marin County for adults, youth, and seniors/disabled. The daily pass can only be purchased on the bus; the weekly and monthly passes are available online and at local vendors. |
NOTE: Effective July 31, 2010, Golden Gate Transit will no longer accept $25, $50, and $75 Value Cards. After that time, customers must use Clipper (formerly TransLink) to receive the discounted fare. We will continue to sell Marin Local Value Cards in denominations of $18 and $36 and Marin Local Period Passes (7-Day and 31-Day Passes). These Marin Local Value Cards and Passes are good only for travel within Marin County.
