US HALF MARATHON CLOSES
GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE SIDEWALKS FROM 7 AM to 9 AM

On Sunday, April 11, 2010, up to 2,500 runners from across the globe will participate in San Francisco's Inaugural US Half 2! event across the Golden Gate Bridge. The race starts at 7 am from Aquatic Park, and the course continues towards the Marina, through Crissy Field, the Presidio and up to the Golden Gate Bridge.

To accommodate race participants, both Golden Gate Bridge sidewalks will be closed April 11, from 7 am to 9 am. The course crosses both sidewalks of the Golden Gate Bridge, with racers traveling north on the east sidewalk and returning south on the west sidewalk.

While the sidewalks are closed, bicyclists and pedestrians requiring access across the Golden Gate Bridge may ride the free shuttle service. Shuttle stops are located on both sides of the Bridge: the south side shuttle stop is in the southeast parking lot and the north side shuttle stop is along the northbound Alexander Avenue off-ramp bus stop.

Visit http://ushalf2.com for complete race details.
